Shoes are a recurring item of the Cake Mania game series used to walk around the kitchen.

Appearance[]

Cake Mania[]

Jill's shoes appear to be some sort sneakers, initially colored red and the slowest. As the game progresses and players earn more profits, they are able to upgrade the shoes. The first upgrade turns them green, later on blue with yellow wings, and finally a bright red.

Cake Mania: Back to the Bakery[]

When playing the additional pack of the first installment, players have to restart the upgrade, but function the same way as in the original gameplay.

Cake Mania 2[]

As in the first installment, the shoes remain exactly the same and upgrade similarly. As in the prior game too, the shoes remain upgraded throughout the game.

Cake Mania: In The Mix![]

This game is available in only Wii version and has the same story and game mechanics of Cake Mania 2. Therefore, the shoes and its upgrades function the same.

Cake Mania 3[]

The upgrade of the shoes remain the same, however, the design varies different. The first pair, the slowest, are actually flats, and have a light brown color to them. As before, the first upgrade turns the shoes into green sneakers, followed by blue, and finally bright red.

Cake Mania: Main Street[]

Both design and upgrades are the same in this game as the one prior to it.

Cake Mania: Lights, Camera, Action![]

At the start, the upgrades are the same. However, during the story dialogue, it's revealed players can't use Jill anymore due to her pregnancy. For the first time in the series then, players must upgrade Jack's shoes instead to get him to move faster in the kitchen. At first he wears light brown shoes, but eventually are upgraded in the same manner of before, each with the same color upgrade as in the previous games.

Cake Mania: To The Max![]

The design of the shoes vary once more due to the fact that the story game is in the eighties. The slowest shoes consist of a dark blue design with light blue leg warmers. Shoes are upgraded as before, however, and the same colors appear for each upgrade, along with the wings in the light blue upgrade.

Similar Appearances[]

Risha's Flower Shop[]

In Main Street, Risha's Flower Shop holds similar gameplay mechanics as the bakery. That includes shoe upgrades for Risha, with similar design. In contrast, the slowest shoes are dark blue flats, but upgrade with the same color scheme.

Trivia[]

  • Lights, Camera, Action! is the only game in which a player can upgrade Jack's shoes.
  • Main Street allows for Jill's and Risha's shoes to be upgraded.
  • All games upgrade with the same color scheme, despite color and shoe design before even the first upgrade.
